Drugged up man attacks ATM with crowbar for his rent - but gets nothing except jail!

Bang Na police were called to the area of Maxvalu on Sukhumvit Soi 71 after security and a member of the public made a citizens' arrest of a 33 year old man going berserk with a crowbar. 

 

The man had tried to smash his way into a Bangkok Bank ATM but was unsuccessful. 

 

Saeng, 33, from Myanmar, had been acting up near his room in Pridee 14 before going to the ATM.

 

He said he needed money for his rent.

 

He was charged with illegal entry, attempted theft and taking methamphetamines after testing positive with a purple result on his urine.
