I was impressed by his slipping in to role of ill mannered lout with that stunt of waving flag (along with his crowd) which is against Euro rules in cheap grandstanding "look at me!" episode

Farage, the greatest politician we never had in the UK. Imagine how great Britain would be with him as PM.

 Correct.

The good thing for us, men in the street, is, that it hasn't any influence on our daily life.

Well at least it is the case in my country.

I imagine the only people who are happy with that are the Germans. I am glad you admit it though as many posters on here are in belief that 27 countries have an equal voice. :cheesy:

Nigel Farage's final speech at the EU parliament today:

:clap2::clap2: Sir Nigel quite frankly class and tells it exactly how it is. So the French, Dutch and the Irish who bowed to the EU and today do their bidding. A class act to follow.

It is my opinion that equality doesn't exist in any domain, however written in many texts.

Idem among the people.

I know for instance that many British and French think they are superior to citizens of other countries.

Belgians can usually live with that.

Our motto is : Let the dogs bark.

That suggests you think a knighthood is a positive reflection of one's character. ????????????

But that is what the EU is promoting an equal voice and by your own submission you know it isn't true and is hypocrisy. Anyway good luck if that floats the boats of Belgians. The UK are leaving the EU in less than 48 hours.

Never believe politicians.

Good for you if you are a Leaver.

In my opinion the gross of the men in the street of the E.U. don't really care.

Providing it doesn't affect them directly.

We will have to wait for that.

If you listened to Farage speech he was correct. You don't need an EU to create trade and business. You do need an EU if you want to control and dictate in the so called name of freedom and development. You can't call it democracy.

I am glad you don't care. Can you pass that on to the countless Non Brits TV posters, who have been hounding leavers on here, telling us how stupid, ignorant, racist and many other slurs for leaving the EU. At least there is one Non Brit that doesn't care.

You honestly thinks thats the reason?

After you guys have your little rally on Friday then the UK is officially out of the EU. The rest of the EU is no longer bound by the rules which prevent nation members interfering in other member nations business.

Get ready for a load of love bombing from the EU to Scotland telling it that the door is open to us to return as soon as we can.

I and many others don't care because so far the E.U. didn't affect us directly.

Belgium has and still make laws for his own people, despite being a member of the E.U.

Other countries do as well, so was/is

the U.K.

For instance, pension, a very important factor for a lot of posters here;

it is up to the U.K. to grant a much smaller amount to its citizens than Belgium do for theirs.

Being part of the E.U. or not doesn't come in consideration.

I hope it will keep this way.

Others here may be more concerned and express their opinion  for different reasons.

You’ve yet to explain what you were doing running from Washington to the Ecuadorian embassy.

I'm sure he's not fretting. His wife is German, his children also have German citizenship. Won't belong before he tries to quietly obtain it too.

Another do as I say not as I do politician in it for the loot.

You are correct. One of the great urban myths in the UK is that all bad things are because of "EU law".

Few British people seem to have checked the facts regarding the law in member states and how sovereign member law is not overruled by "EU law".

Maybe that attitude will change. I've seen many comments now about why the UK, one of the EU's wealthiest nations pays the lowest pensions.

Probably the best day the EU has ever  experienced getting rid of this egotistical idiot. A disgrace to the UK if ever there was.

I think that there are people in all countries that think they're country is superior to others.

The most I saw in Europe was the Dutch thinking they're superior to the Belgians; and the Flemish thinking they're superior to the Walloons. The latter loving to prove them wrong by being as awkward as possible.

Like he said, that was just a game to him. Good for Nigel Farage, really freaking bad for the people he fooled and 'represented'.

Anyhow, it's now over. I guess he had a fun times being the spoiled child, while others tried to improve the lives of the common people, who don't have the luxury to play as he did.

It's now time to pay the bill.

Especially for the British fishermen when he only bothered to turn up for one of the forty parliamentary sessions on Fisheries.

Could any of you please explain what you have achieved for the UK, not for you personally but for the UK as a whole, in the last 20 years which is how long Nigel Farage has been trying to get the UK out of the EU?

He has succeeded in his task.

Have any of you even come close?

As a member of the EU parlament, he was responsible for the well-being of all EU member states (including the UK).

His result:

- Massive currency losses

- Geostrategic weakening of the UK and the EU

- The lives of millions of people are brought into economic insecurity.

- The planning security of many companies and jobs bought at risk.

- The climate of cooperation between the UK and the remaining 27 EU countries deteriorated.

- Enormous amounts of time and resources wasted.

And to answer your question:

That is not a positive thing for me.

And I wouldn't do that to my country.

If Farrage hadn't kept going all these years, Brexit wouldn't be happening.  He stuck to the same message for 25 years, what other politician has done that?

Don't forget that he walked away from a good career to do this, he'd personally be much better off if he hadn't but his principles forced him to do it.

I'd shout him a beer any day of the week.

Yep, the remainers still can't accept the will of the majority.

They still dream of their Federated European Socialist paradise, and silencing all opposition by any means.

I doubt that very much as you don't meet their very strict criteria and do you think they would want to upset a trading nation like the UK. Tis but a dream you have.

Yes a typical lefty, socilaist, luvvy response which is anti democratic. It is assault and nobody whatever they believe in, deserves that. People that resort to these stupid, ignorant tactics deserve all they get that Karma returns for them.

Yeah. This kind of behaviour is stupid. But so was the killing of Jo Cox.

Yes that was stupid too. So you are trying to justify that with throwing a milkshake. How apt. It is assault and if you think it is justified then you are a sad individual and I hope nobody comes and dumps a big thick cold milkshake on you whether you are in a suit or not.

Nobody deserves that, not even you for your outrageous justification.

Which part of  "This kind of behaviour is stupid." was too complicated for you to understand?
