'Scores?'

I would be grateful for you to justify that remark and specify who, exactly, that would be.

Or are you just trolling for 2 minutes of media fame?

Because it sounds like nonsense!

A score is 20 so 'scores' is very accurate.

There are plenty of posters still posting here who openly supported the machinations to get rid of the elected Yingluck government and supported the unelected military junta that followed. Some appear still to obsessed by the Shin clan and bring them up at every opportunity.

The clever ones have recanted and shown courage and are still posting under the same handles.

Naming them on a thread that they have not posted on is probably against forum rules though.

Nice try though.

Back on topic, we are witnessing a major crisis for the country for which this government is responsible for. The will be judged accordingly.

Want them to be accountable? They won't be and they don't care, and that is why electing governments and holding them accountable is so, so important.

Capiche?

I can't imagine any real, independent sovereign nation saying something like this.

You heard it first right here in the worlds second virus HUB.

- Sir are you trying to work on a tourist visa in Thailand?

- Of course no, I am sick !

- Welcome to Thailand Sir.

They will look a bit stupid when other countries will start to forbid flights coming from Thailand.

i like the way he mentions “think carefully” as if he understands the concept. He has similar body language to Hun Sen, and the stupidity to boot.

My goodness ! There was I, convinced Thailand was the only country in the world capable of teaching stupidity !!!

He has no clue. Singapore just suspended all China arrivals including anyone not just Chinese who transits Singapore and visited China within the last 2 weeks. Airlines are stopping flights. WHO has just upgraded to an Emergency level. Has he not heard of prevention is better than cure?

Not difficult, look at their response to the appalling road toll! As long as their is swill in the trough, everything is ok!

Quote,, it might hurt Thailands tourist industry,, Oh we have to think about the money,, unbelievable,, its not as if it is forever, only until they can control and stop the spread of this virus, they have brains the size of peas..

I have to assume you are in a very generous mood today?

This idiot is just unbelievable, even by his standards. Prayut take note, this is how seriously developed countries are taking the threat of this virus to its citizens. "If we take strong measures now, we may be able to blunt the impact of the virus on the US," said Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases". No, I am not American.

Chinese are not happy either.

And if you do nothing it will hurt the feelings of all westerners who will never go to Thailand since they don't care for safety..

Exactly!  They are in danger of loosing all the other Tourists from other Countries and causing an epidemic that has the potential of infecting many Thais.  They have a very strange order of priorities.

It was reported yesterday that India has had its first case of the virus. You could imagine how quickly it could spread there.

After 19 cases the PM still cannot make up his mind to save his citizens.

Actually the best thing that could happen is that any decisions regarding Chinese travelling to Thailand be taken out of this governments hands. The Chinese government need to ban all travelling in and out of China, close its borders.

Posted

The only way forward is to block new travelers from China till the world gets a grip on this.  It's a short term bump in the road, long term business will rebound.

It won't discourage them it will cut them off, effectively banning Chinese from entering Thailand.

This will not please the governments Chinese masters.

Fffff -(fornicate) their feelings !!- the Chinese would do the same if Thailand had originated this virus. This is a matter of life and death. Not bloody hurting perceived feelings. The Chinese understand this why doesn't the Thai PM.

This is why Thailand is at risk for becoming the next virus hot zone. All they do is meet and talk, no action. All they care about is tourism.

Prayut is probably sick with the virus and going to meetings.

Posted

If Thailand cases continue to rise they will block Thai travelers too.

So go on and keep talking while the world acts.

Corona is big business !

Sales of masks went up. Prices went up already 500 - 900 %. Originals with FDA are all sold out.

Sales of fake masks went up. For a fake N95 without any FDA you pay the same price as for an original.

Prices in hospitals are booming. Foreigners pay 3x the price of a Thai.

Don't worry, just spend your money.

PM has many friends in the above businesses.
