Breaking with Republicans, Romney votes 'guilty' in Trump impeachment trial

Oh I don't know. Rachel Maddow released portions of Trump's taxes. It was a massive flop. Frankly, most of what I've seen Democrats think they'll find indicates they don't even understand tax returns and what is and isn't on them.

If there was nothing there Trump would have been waving them around like a clean pair of underwear.

Not really. He's been masterfully baiting (pun intended) Democrats for years. It's the same old trap every time. Trump sets the bait. Democrats take it. Trump reels them in. Democrats fight violently and make a big deal. The original issue fizzles out. Democrats look like idiots making much ado about nothing.

What has been covered up?

isn't that the same innocent question asked by Trump supporters over the little matter of the Ukraine impeachable offences?

After an intense investigation, Trump has been acquitted.

Intense blocking of witnesses.

That's right. Nothing there. The justice system has spoken. Trump has been acquitted. It's over. From here on out, Democrats will look silly and petty chasing phantom Russian conspiracies and other nonsense.

In the House? Yep. I agree. Fortunately, the Senate proceedings were just as fair as those in the House.

I've had a feeling this was the issue. I believe Romney felt very embarrassed when Trump pointed out that Romney came to Trump begging for his endorsement.

Yeah, you and all the other Trump-worshippers are out there blasting Romney for doing the right thing which has no political benefit to himself.  What Romney did is pretty darn rare for a politician, especially a Republican.

I watched a Dem Senator saying that he wanted his own sons to grow up to be like Romney, a person of conviction and integrity.  Does anyone want their sons to be like Trump?  A lying cowardly conman?  Quite a contrast.

The house had witnesses. How many witnesses in the senate trial.

What justice system. It was never involved.

Don't you get tired of churning out the same old troll information? the House did not allow Trump a proper defence as they did Clinton and Dems pulled in 18 'witnesses' not one of which said they had seen him do anything wrong. Give it a REST you lost.

The house is an investigation, not a trial.

Clinton did not get investigated by the house, they only voted. Starr did the investigation.

There is evidence. Even repubs are saying he did wrong but not worthy of removal.

Trump could call witnesses, he just refused to call them, the ones with direct knowledge of his perfect call.

We all know why.

Interesting you dont like facts.

The investigation led to dismissal. That's how it works.

Let the house put through meaningful legislation. We can rename libraries and streets later. Let the house introduce an infrastructure bill. Otherwise McConnell is correct the senate should use the time they have and prioritize confirming judges.

Mueller investigated Trump, for years. Nothing. So the house investigated on their own. Nothing. And you complain about him being acquitted?

Seventeen witnesses in the Senate trial.

Unless the bills are cutting regulations, I’d rather they just focus on getting more judges seated.

Yes, but remember, the only reason they did not find anything is because Trump‘s obstruction.

Keep in mind, there is never any accountability on the left, they just move to the next hysteria.

Plenty was found, even repubs say he did wrong.

Mueller found collusion but considered trump jr and friends too dumb to know so couldnt bring it to a conspiracy to be a crime.

Mueller also found other evidence of wrongdoing but said a president cannot be charged with any crime so instead said that he could not clear him.

There was also a lot of money returned and a few people in jail that would contradict your opinion.

Many of the bills are bipartisan. Sitting waiting.
