At 3.30 am on 4th April the Pattaya Police were informed that a foreigner was found unconscious in a soi near Memorial Hospital and requested assistance from the police. At the scene the team found the foreigner who was later found to be a Mr. Philip, aged 55 – nationality unknown, unconscious next to the footpath. His left eyebrow was bruised and he had a serious wound on his head – probably caused by his fall. Witnesses in the area stated that the man was walking and stumbling on the road – it looked like he was drunk and when he stepped onto the footpath, he fell down and hit his head. He was losing a lot of blood so they informed the police. The team was aiding the man for about 20 minutes until he regained consciousness. However, he was too drunk to talk.
