Customs seizes over 100,000 masks

The Customs Department has seized 100,000 masks and will take action against companies exporting around 400 pieces multiple times to avoid the law, deputy government spokeswoman Rachada Dhnadirek said this afternoon (February 24). 

 

The move comes after the government announced a law prohibiting the export of 500 masks at a time and requiring companies to seek permission before exporting more than this quantity.

 

The seized masks are being sent to the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation for further action.
