So what will become of the Thai prostitutes?  Or are they exempt?

Yes, Thais are exempt from having visas to be here, Vietnamese and Africans brasses aren't.

There are no Thai prostitutes. Prostitution is against the law in Thailand. Only the foreigners are criminal and break the law.

And what about all the Thai brass around Nana? I guess that is like Pattaya and does not exist.

They're not there illegally.

It looks like there is another profession to be added to the "protected" list for immigration.

Since Craigslist closed down its personals section, all the freelancers have just moved on to the dating sites. Sites like Thaifriendly.com are just overrun with freelancers these days. Of course, immigration wouldn't be interested in them since most are Thai.

Is posting on Thaifriendly.com illegal now?

How can there be prostitutes? I thought prostitutes do not exist here?

They don’t. Only the foreigners are prostitutes. The Thai girls and ladyboys are just dancing and serving drinks.

And when you see them go away with a customer from the bar, they are just following them home to make sure they are safe.

Thais would never fall to the standards of foreigners.

Yup, those boys in brown are so scared now they called the Hanuman to protect them...

once i went black, i never went back

Once I tried an Asian, never again Caucasian!

I think the atmosphere of Nana Plaza and Soi 4/6 was ruined by overly aggressive soliciting by foreigners. Walking back to my room at night I might be aggressively accosted by 3 or 4 African prostitutes.

If I wanted African women then I would visit Nigeria.

Either ask them to act decently and respectfully or deport them.

Just a thought......there was no BMW Smart Car used on this bust. With all the PR about the BMW Smart Car I thought every big bust had to have a picture of the BMW Smart Car and some mention in the copy. Is law breaking down because of corona virus? I want the BMW SMART CAR to catch the overstayers and prostitutes, not some run of the mill cop.

If you hang around red light areas at night, you expect to have females offering you sex

I am also confused, there must be some mistake on my part because as I seem to remember usually the ones front row are suspects but the article mentions women.

probably too successful a coup to show of all involved.

But the car is supposedly smart, not good for an everyday job.

Illegal? Since prostitution is illegal in Thailand, posting there is probably illegal but we know how well freelancers follow the law. ????

It's not illegal to be a prostitute.  The act of prostitution (there's a distinction) is illegal, though, but being on Thaifriendly is not the act of prostitution.

I do trust no “Yum Yum’ girls where rounded up. Ya canni beat a “Yum Yum’ alarm clock.

Can't blame the girls, the job was not mentioned in the reserved list.

You have to ask!! How were the Africans allowed here in the first place?

seventeen out of how many or is it just a beginning?

they need a trademark dress code.

I assumed the masks are routine Thai-style protection against airborne social diseases like HIV, syphillis and gonorrhea.

How many Thai girls? ????

Now I can go back and enjoy Nana after being cleaned up????

the foreign prostitutes were damaging Thai tourism

Going by that logic, local workers would ENHANCE Thai tourism, then?

By the way, where is the picture of the stupid 's(e)mart BMW'?
