The National Health Security Committee (NHSC) is to seek cabinet approval tomorrow (Tuesday) for 3.5 billion baht from the Central Fund, to be used in coping with COVID-19 situation over the next seven months, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said today.

The NHSC, which met today under the chairmanship of Mr. Anutin, has approved an additional 1.2 billion baht, from the Health Security Fund, to be used in testing for new COVID-19 infections and the treatment of those already infected.

The public health minister assured that, for the time being, there is sufficient medication to cope with the current situation, but he urged users of cotton face masks to reuse them, after being washed, due to a shortage of masks in the market.

They were full but for two days of use; they forgot to specify it ..

And when you know that more than 80% of the world production of masks which are strictly useless against the Covid-19 is Chinese.
What the Thai government also doesn't say is that almost 100% of the active ingredients in drugs sold around the world are also made in China; and yes relocation thoroughly for maximum profits ..
and that's where it takes us; China is almost paralyzed, land, air and sea transport are almost no longer done, the world and not only Thailand is in shi*t.

I am an eternal optimist and hope that government ineptitude in reacting to this virus will become an agent for change... if not in China then at least in Thailand.
