Thai police served an arrest warrant on a 71 year old Japanese man and two Thai procurers after they delivered an underage boy for sex to a condominium in the Rama 3 area of Bangkok.

The Japanese man claimed he didn't know the boy was under 18. But police know that he was convicted for possessing child pornography in Japan.

Noritoshi M., 71, along with Ekasak U., 24, and Bunlert N., 21, were served with a warrant yesterday that was issued by the court on Wednesday. The warrant relates to conspiracy to traffic a minor for sex and financial gain.

The arrest happened at The Star Estate at Rama 3 in the Bang Pongpang area of the capital.

It followed information supplied to the Thai police by an NGO that had been tracking the activities of the Japanese man and suggestions that he had paid upwards of 200 - 500 baht for sexual services with minors.

He denied this saying he thought the boy in the latest delivery was not under 18. He said that he has been working legally in Thailand for the last 10 years.

Police doubt his claims noting that the suspect has allegedly been molesting boys for years.

The suspect has a criminal conviction for possessing child pornography in Japan and molesting a minor.

Immigration police were part of the arrest. Daily News did not explain how a convicted sex offender might have been allowed to enter Thailand, notes Thaivisa.

Why is it with farang it's always little boys??

Speak for yourself
and do not tarnish the 90something % of people that loath those that have a go at underaged kids;
the loathing being inversely correlated to the age.

two Thai procurers

Excuse me, don't habitually grammar police, but have to get this off my chest:

Procurement is usually used in a government context, so "procurer" is quite out of place here.
Neither are those sorry excuses for people "Agents",
they are "Pimps".

(not to be confused with Pimm's ????  what is a rather pleasant experience, especially for persons of the opposite gender.)

Procurer is completely appropriate. That is why I used it.

Looked it up, Websters gives indeed the meaning Pimp to Procurer.
I stand corrected.

They should have their passport cancelled at their home country so they can't travel.

This Rock Spider will have to get accustomed to "catching" instead of "pitching".

The Secret Joy of Selling Your Dirty Underwear in Tokyo

“How smelly?” he asked next. "Very?” I replied. The entire exchange felt both a bit off and strangely professional. The shopkeeper, in his late 50s, began to barter, negotiating a price for something I never thought had worth. But my trash was another’s treasure, and who was I to deny them of that? We settled on $30 AUD, which in hindsight I suspect may have been a rip-off.
