The international section and branch of Kasikorn Thai bank in Laem Chabang on the eastern seaboard has announced that it has shut for 14 days.

The news comes after the Department of Health told the bank that an Italian infected with coronavirus went there to do business on Monday.

All staff are in quarantine at home and deep cleaning is taking place.

The bank said that it would reopen on March 18th.

Meanwhile customers could use their branch in Harbor Mall, they said.

Let's hope the Italian doesn't go there.

Hope he didn't do a brewery tour.

Or the one at Tesco Lotus Theprasit; the result will still be the same poor service; an inordinate wait whilst six employees look earnestly at computer screens before treating the farang customer like a terrorist or bandit; even after a monthly visit for ten years.

I sense some xenophobic paranoia here

At least there's a cure for that.
