webfact
Fake bills! Market traders make citizens' arrest of 'counterfeit' gang Pakistanis working with Thai women Picture: Daily News Klong Luang police in Pathum Thani north of Bangkok were called after several male and female market traders made a citizens' arrest of two Pakistani men. They claimed the two men had been knowingly using fake 100 baht bills to buy things at the market. They are thought to be in league with two Thai women, suggested the police. When the police arrived at the market at the end of Soi Bun Khum they found two Pakistanis next to a Vios car. Inside were four 100 baht notes taken in for examination. Samruay, 48, said the men had tried to buy pairs of 100 baht flip-flops with the fake money. He mobilized several traders to help make a citizens' arrest and call the police. Picture: Daily News Three days prior a corn on the cob seller had been given fake notes. After that a chicken and moo ping seller had become a victim causing traders to be on the lookout. Klong Luang chief Setthawan Timmawat said that two Thai women are believed to be involved with the Pakistanis. Immigration have been contacted and attempts made to find out their address and from where the car was rented. Andre0720
Oh geez. How untimely. So many are trying to explain that people from this type of country are just a good as anyone else, or could be or would be.... Well if they are, I wonder what happened between the time in my youth when nobody had a lock on their front door, and now...
