webfact Posted March 9, 2020 Share Posted March 9, 2020 Revealed: Quarantine facilities that await Thailand's "Little Ghosts" Picture: 77kaoded Thai media had revealed the kind of facilities and arrangements that await the so called "Little Ghosts" coming back from countries severely affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. The "Phee Noi" are coming from countries like South Korea where an amnesty until June was announced for illegal Thai workers. Thousands are coming back to Thailand and are being placed in 14 day quarantine. Yesterday provincial governor Somsak Jantrakoon went to inspect one of four places in Khon Kaen where 60 of the little ghosts are being kept in quarantine. Picture: 77kaoded It is a Buddhist building on 1,174 rai on the Khon Kaen bypass called "Phuttamonthon Isaan". A multi-purpose three story structure is being used. A meeting room is acting as a bedroom. Each person has bedding and a mosquito net - 1.5 meters apart from the next one. People in quarantine will receive 3 meals a day. Their stay includes fitness programs and mental health help. The building has wifi and full security. The governor also commented on 8 people who went missing after returning from risky countries saying that six were now in home isolation and two were being observed in hospitals. But of course they could cuddle up to each other there which Thai women enjoy,it seems they are incapable of solitude.
