Caught off guard - useless Corona (virus kid ) screening

Not scared of the virus, but for my kids' sake, I don't want anyone to catch it (quarantine and all)

 

Anyway, as we were checking into a Recent (Can't mention names but c rhymes with g)???? Cha-am/Hua-hin hotel, the one receptionist asked to chek our temperatures. "Sure, no problem", we said. I heard her saying numbers to the lady handling my passport "The little one 36.5 etc." and after she did me I turned to my wife and said, "I hope they change the cover" (It was the ear type) - I turned to the lady that had just done my check and watched her wipe the thermometer with some alcohol - yep, no cover used, so that thing has been in countless other people's ears today. Pointless really.

If they leave it in your ear long enough...you could possibly hear some juicy gossip...in Thai of course.

we were temp checked to get inside Central last night but its the one for your forehead, never seen it so quiet on a friday night
