surely the OLD passport will not be valid....usually a corner is cut

Really? I suppose that's why I was able to leave and enter Thailand with only my new passport in February. Retirement visa.

Where is the most luxurious condo building in the Pattaya / Jomtien areas? Most but not all. There was an excellent, very short one posted by a German guy as he removed the fenders of his PX Ranger. He was muttering away in German, no subtitles, holding his smartphone while doing everything one-handed, but it was excellently informative. I had both my wings off about 20 minutes later.
