Thai media 77kaoded reported that entertainment places in the province of Samut Prakan had complied with government directives to shut until the end of the month amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

The government bans regarding Bangkok also applied to "Phuttamonthon" - the surrounding provinces of which Samut Prakan is one.

Reporters found the entertainment there shut down and police and protection agencies patrolling to enforce the ban.

Restaurants and "moo katha" (pork barbecue) and "khao tom" (boiled rice and condiments) facilities were all open.

The closure applies to many places of gathering for people but not restaurants and is in force from now until the end of March when there will be a review.

Good! Just one question. If the government orders a shut down, how can Hua Hin defy that order? Send them to jail for 10 year if they not close down!

I hear one of those baby entering monk-hood parties going on across my area. The noise is deafening. Guess they haven't heard. They'll pay for it later.
