Kids should help their parents, says kid

There are three simple things that children can do help their parents cope during the Covid-19 outbreak, says a 13-year-old Facebook user.

Mozz Patimavirujh posted a helpful video on Thursday (March 19), saying all kids can be part of the effort to get through the crisis safe and sound.

He said he’s been watching a lot of news lately and could see how worried and anxious adults and parents are becoming around the world.

“The easiest way to support our parents,” he advises fellow youngsters, “is to take good care of yourself, cheer your parents up and help them in every way possible.”

“I hope the small things we do today will be a crucial power to create a better world.”

Every crisis presents opportunities, Mozz said.

“I saw on the news yesterday that a vaccine has been developed. I hope we can use this vaccine soon, but in the meantime, I believe that staying mentally healthy will help us get through this crisis together.”

Well done young man, hope you have a goal to be a future prime minister of Thailand.

I like the boy, I hope he does as our kids also do, i.e. stay at home, no friends, visitors or the likes, no choice in the matter really ????

I wonder if his obvious capabilities come from regular family two way discussions with the kids being encouraged / pushed to analyse and taught to develop strategic holistic opinions and responses?

And/or is he lucky enough to have very good student centered education with quality teachers?

When I saw the headline I thought this must be another government planted feel good story such as "Taxi driver finds five million baht on back seat and drives from Bangkok to Chiang Mai at own expense to return it." But no, seems there is still some hope for Thailand. Well done young man!

Good lad.
