baneko
I have Pacific Cross medical insurance purchased well before COVID 19 came along. It covers me for 5 million baht and in the small print there is no mention of COVID. There are the normal pre-existing health issues etc but that is it. Will this be suitable to get me back into Thailand along with a Health Certificate? I am currently out of country locked down in West Africa. After my rotation I would like to get home to Thailand and take care of my famiy until this is over.
KhunBENQ
You have to check whether there is a clause about (global) pandemic. Covid-19 has been declared a global pandemic which allows many insurances to get around. Otherwise it is a viral infection. No precondition of course. Fortunately no mention of Global Pandemic or words to that effect. So that's one hurdle crossed. Now to confirm whether it is a health certificate or a COVID 19 test which is required. Still a grey area.
