How many people get Covid-19 tested in Thailand?

Recommended Posts

It's good to see that the official numbers of new diagnosed Covid-19 cases in Thailand is stable or goes down (today "only" 89 cases).

But how many people get tested in Thailand?

Are any official numbers published anywhere? Are there estimates?

The number of tests would be relative to the number of people presenting at hospital with relevant symptoms. The testing is still only reactive not proactive. If 100 people present at hospital today (with symptoms) 100 will be tested today.

Ideally they will get to a point were the broader population is being tested, isolated etc,( the korean model)

You can find information on the daily reports from MoPH. Or better say you could, because now those numbers are no longer published afaik. Probably they got some <deleted>storm on social media for doing such little testing.

Green are daily tests, orange column backlog.

How do you know?

What is the real number?

As I posted, the last numbers were from end of March. After that they disappeared from the public informations.

Hardly a sign that they have been gone up since then.
