Translation gives two answers..

Ordered a package, and it has not arrived yet. So went to chat with the seller of the package. He said he is following the package and then said one line that has me raising a big question, so went to translate...

And the answer was not really following the context of the conversation I had. Clicked on the answer and got another which fits more to the chat.

 

Which one is it..?

ช่วงนี้   at this period ; at this time
จะ       will (be); shall
ล่าช้า   delay ; be slow ; hesitate
ค่ะ       (female particle "ka")

 

Not what you might have hoped to hear.

(BTW where does the shipment come from? Airmail basically down)

if it was meant to be 'not delay' then you'd have your package already.... so the conclusion is...

Then the meaning would be like that she points it to the current issue outside that the delivery would be delayed. (Delivery is busy as everyone is ordering online)

My first impression was that she was saying as she is following up the delivery and then saying that the delivery wouldn't be delayed. But you could be right.

It is a local delivery.

Normally would take a few days, 3 days max.

 

On this one this was shipped out one week ago. They 'said' to have attended our location once but we were not at home, which is not true there is always someone present here.

So the 1st delivery attempt was done, now I am waiting for the 2nd attempt, has messaged the delivery company/guy to no avail and now the ball is at the seller.

(The payment won't be released unless the package arrives.)
