Thirty-four Thais who were stranded at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport in Russia, arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport by Aeroflot Airlines flight SU272 on Saturday (April 11).

Officials at the airport’s international communicable disease control checkpoint found that three of the returnees had fever, so they sent them for further tests to a hospital.

Military officers at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters and Tourist Police took the other returnees to a hotel in Bangkok for 14 days of quarantine to monitor their health.

Except that those unfortunates told to stand in a line with their backs to the camera and wave to the buses were not far enough apart!

Yep Thais cant pass the chance for a selfie to post on FB...

Free transport, hotel accommodation & meals for 14 days, would make most Thai's overseas want to come back, just for the freebies.

Not too sure sticking them in a large hotel right in the heart of the city would be my first choice.

Especially now, since they've established that a required safety distance should be 4 meters and not 2 meters......

Just like the pick up trucks with 15 laborers. Ridiculous

Surprised I don't see any speakers in the photo!! They love speakers and microphones!! Along with bits of papers, certs and badges

Poor sods

those girl were very lucky... (aside from the quarantine bit) that the crisis gave them an excuse to finally escape from the forgotten world of (marrying into) the gulags

Where does it say they are sticking them in a large hotel right in the heart of the city?  Why make such an assumption (other than a bash)?

They have six hotels exclusively for quarantining returning people.  Hotels have to meet certain criteria like isolated (localised) AC systems, no carpets....

They are certainly not staying in luxury in the heart of Bangkok.  And they are not mingling with other guests or having a jolly old time "in the heart of Bangkok".
