Starting today, Phuket goes into a stringent ‘lockdown’ phase which will restrict travel between all sub-districts and districts around the island. An alcohol ban is also in place until further notice. That started on Saturday, April 11.

Don’t believe fake news about ibuprofen and Covid-19: ministry

The Digital Economy and Society Ministry has warned people not to believe or share news and Internet posts saying that using ibuprofen (commonly known as Advil) when having fever will cause the underlying Covid-19 virus to become ten times more potent.

No new virus cases in Chiang Mai for 4 consecutive days

Chiang Mai province has not found any new Covid-19 patients for four consecutive days, with total infections at 40 and 19 allowed to return home, Dr Waranyu Chamnongprasartporn of the province’s public health office said on Sunday (April 12).

Stressed man jumps to his death – a day before being released from quarantine

28 new cases point to declining Covid-19 infections in Thailand over a week  (Updated)

Thailand’s total number of Covid-19 patients rose to 2,579 with 28 new cases confirmed over a 24-hour period, and two more deaths, Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman of the government's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said on Monday (April 13).

Bt5,000 handouts: ministry does not want massage, spa employees overlooked
