Retirement extension renewal - how far in advance?

My retirement extension expires on July 30. In these uncertain times I'd like to apply for my extension as early as possible - especially since I have a trip planned for late June (which may not happen). Has anyone had recent experience in applying for their retirement extension in Phuket? If so, how early can it be done?

The Immigration Volunteers site says 30 days in advance but, as far as I know, in Phuket the application should be accepted 45 days before

That is correct, Officially it is 30 days (That's why this is on the website) but Phuket Immigration accept it up to 45 days before the expire date.
