Spain records lowest number of daily coronavirus deaths in over a month

MADRID (Reuters) - Spain said on Friday the number of daily coronavirus-related fatalities fell to its lowest level in more than a month, with 367 deaths in the previous 24 hours.

 

That took total fatalities to 22,524 from 22,157 the day before, the health ministry said. The overall number of coronavirus cases rose to 219,764 from 213,024 the day before.

It's not a surprise, is it? Once the available number of susceptible victims has been infected, the virus runs out of hosts, unless it mutates.

You are forgetting the country is also in strict lockdown. Might have something to do with this...

Oz folk in Spain can get home, but not here thankfully..don,t think I’d fancy fellow passengers from there! But yeah good price

Not at all, but possibly the most vulnerable were infected before lockdown.

 

Get ready for second wave once we are released though.
