Desperate to get out? If malls open on May 1st shopping will not be as you remember it!

Then they won't be getting any of my money.  See how that works?  I don't pay people to inconvenience me.

Never go to malls, everything in our town has been open regarding shopping. Alcohol has been a search though!

True.

Perhaps that is why the results have been so successful.

Fair enough as long as I don't have to stand that far away from the urinal.

No Missus you don't. You may sit.

The "devastation" should be compared with the daily road kill which IS devastating and doesn't rate any response.

"...the devastating virus."

???

If they mean devastating to the common Thais' ability to pay rent and buy food because of the massive overreaction of the powers-that-be, yes.

Traffic accidents aren't exponentially infectious.

If your temp is OK to get into the Mall where does each shop have to check it. Are you likely to develop Covid between the Mall entrance and the shop?

It's theater.

My building is similar, apparently anyone leaving the building on foot can develop symptoms somewhere between the 7/11 100 metres away and the foyer. Anyone arriving by vehicle they stand and salute as they enter the car park.

Aren't they, haven't you noted the infectious training given to the youngsters everyday, day after day by stupid parents - especially motorbikes ????

Why is this news? Big C and Central Festival have been doing this for more than a month in Chiang Rai. Hand sanitation, temperature check, a little sticker on your shirt, away I go. No big deal.

Just what I wanted to say, they've been doing this temperature scanning and hand sanitation for weeks before they closed, no big deal.

If you get your neighbours in the restaurant a bit further away it's win/win.

Can't wait to hit the mall.

I'll do an experiment and take off the mask when I'm in. I'm 98% certain nobody will say a thing. Nobody official, anyway, maybe some mask Nazi. I hope they say something.

Are you deliberately obtuse or does it come naturally?
