RickG16 Posted May 2, 2020 Share Posted May 2, 2020 When I'm on my laptop and signed into Skype, I get notifications for messages (bottom right of screen). If I am out and only have my mobile phone, even if it is signed into Skype, I do not always get the notifications for messages. Any ideas how I can solve this? RichCor Posted May 7, 2020 Share Posted May 7, 2020 If you're using an android device then you'll a lot of complaints about the notification system not always working as expected, with many user forums listing the issue. Most users will continue to hear incoming call and incoming SMS/MMS notifications, but secondary applications, like social media or peer-to-peer apps, just stop announcing when not running as the foreground app. One 'fix' is to remove and re-download the app. The other is to completely reset the phone and reload the apps.
