Thai media Daily News went to popular Bang Saen beach yesterday to report that the beach itself remains off limits due to Covid-19 restrictions.

They said in their headline that if you want to go to the beach - WAIT!

However, the authorities were allowing cyclists and joggers out exercising to use the 2.5 kilometer road fronting the beach.

They reported that Chonburi governor Phakarathorn Thienchai had not followed PM Prayut Chan-ocha's lead in allowing people to sit and eat in restaurants.

As was reported in other stories on Thaivisa, restaurants in the province that includes Pattaya are only to be used for takeaway.

is the ninja there to arrest the 80 year old French guy again?

Is it the sand that spreads the virus?  Is that why Pattaya renews it every three months?

I always thought that Thailands beaches were dangerous and toxic,

the lockouts are just proving what I suspected. Pictures like this one with the tape

going up will sure help promote Thailand for the return of tourists.
