The Department of Physical Education will open specific areas of the National Stadium from 3pm on Tuesday (May 5) in line with the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration’s decision to allow low-risk activities, the department’s director-general Santi Pawai said.

He added that though no team sports will be allowed, people can still walk or run for exercise. No cycling or use of gym equipment will be allowed either.

For the first 14 days of the easing of restrictions, the stadium will open twice a day, from 6am to 9am and then again from 3pm to 6pm. Two screening points will also be set up to check on visitors.

Really? Will they let everyone get some fresh air and space in there or just some chosen folks? I'd like to know how this works out. Do you have to have expensive fancy workout clothes to get in? Or special shoes? Isn't this just for the special wealthy people of Bangkok?
