The Department of Rural Roads is sending out trucks to deliver water in places that have been badly hit by drought.

Most recently, the Mae Hong Son Rural Road Office supplied water to people across the province to help ease their burden.

“As per the policy of Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob, the department is monitoring the drought situation closely and will continue delivering water until the drought eases,” an official said.

The department has so far delivered more than 9 million litres of water across the nation.

“Of the water delivered, 4.36 million litres went to the Central region, 863,000 litres to the Northeast, 2.97 million litres to the North and 996,000 litres to the South,” he said.

Call the 1146 hotline or contact the nearest Rural Roads Office for assistance.
