Thailand's national police spokesman said yesterday that 13,000 shops nationwide had been checked to ensure they were complying with social distancing and mask wearing rules.

A total of 4,600 warnings were issued said Pol Col Krissana Pattancharoen.

The softly, softly approach is the policy of RTP chief Gen Chakthip Chaijinda as restrictions have been eased but businesses will face sanctions if  they repeatedly fail to follow the 'new normal' rules.

Thailand's emergency decree remains in place until the end of this month at least, reported Daily News.

Thai people have no concept of what corona virus has the potential to do to them and their economy. There are millions who are struggling with no job and no food. They are not worrying about the future, got to get through today first,

??

As the entire country is in a recession, businesses closed, unemployment, and 1000's are lining up for free food.

Your comment seems so out of touch ridiculous.

I think by now they have figured it out.
