Perhaps they could meet in a third country, such as Switzerland or another agreeable country, and make the exchange there.

Teach them how to swim and drop them off at the gulp of Hormuz. 

And don't even say a word about it, just graduated intern journalist reporters always make distorting story to draw readers.

Why not send them to Switzerland and then get the Swiss to take them on to Iran or Iraq, do the swap there under Swiss auspices and return with the Americans the same way.

 

Or is that too easy and simple to do?
