Thai pop star to the rescue in his jimjams as car burns

Sanook exported that famous Thai singer Teh Utain rushed out of his house in Huah Kwang when a car in the street burst into flames.

 

Teh said on his Facebook page that he had heard an explosion and then he rushed out with some staff to see if they could help.

 

A small extinguisher proved of little use so a hose was used before professional firemen arrived.

 

Teh did all this in his pyjamas. 

 

He had time to take a note of the licence plate number.

 

A well known producer asked if he had got it for lottery purposes and he was able to give the number on his Facebook page - 3197.

Thanks for the lottery tip, but why would 3197 be considered auspicious after the car was gutted by fire?

Jimjams was originally a slang term for delirium tremens aka a state of nervous tension, excitement, or anxiety.
