Around three million Cambodians are at risk of Covid-19, as well as other epidemics, because of a lack of proper hand cleaning stations, while 10 per cent of healthcare facilities in the country lack clean water and soap, NGO WaterAid Cambodia said on Monday.

 

In anticipation of the 73rd World Health Assembly, which was held virtually on Monday, WaterAid urged Cambodia’s Ministry of Health and relevant institutions to make hygiene a priority in the country’s overall plan.

 

In a press release, the NGO said the world’s poorest communities are struggling with the novel coronavirus because clean water and soap are unavailable.

still, it would be good if access to water and washing facilities was better. many poorer people have skin infections due to not washing themselves and their bedding

The directors of Waterside Cambodia should be arrested, tried and charged with attempting to incite public panic, and imprisoned for at least ten years. And the NGO should be disbanded. What an insane load of <deleted>. These computer models have to stop. They are the height of irresponsibility. They are inane. These people are inane. These forecasts are stupid and grotesque.

Slightly over 100 total cases to date with no deaths reported..

Maybe the US and Euro folks need lessons on soap and water and how to wash their hands.

 

Or because they hardly test anyone, 15,572 tests with a population of 16 million hmm.

They are struggling, for sure. Clean water being a real issue. Soap? I think there are much bigger issues in these people's lives.
