Pattaya: Double whammy! Ladyboy nabbed for theft from Russian in wheelchair - police get flatmate for Yaba too

Pattaya's finest had a swift result yesterday with the arrest of a thieving ladyboy and their druggie flatmate.

 

A 29 year old Russian man who is confined to a wheelchair had gone to the police saying that he had left his door open at his condo in Soi Wat Bun Kanjanaram on Wednesday.

 

Ten thousand baht and a bottle of perfume had gone missing.

 

CCTV soon gave investigators a lead and it was a ladyboy known to the police.

 

They had seen the door open before taking advantage of the situation and going in and rifling the Russian's possessions.

But after fleeing they were traced to an address in Moo 10 in Jomtien. 

 

The ladyboy - Mr Woraphon or "Lek", 35 - was caught with money and the perfume. 

 

A flatmate - Yuthana or "Priaw", 29 - had ten Yaba pills. 

 

Lek had previous convictions for theft and Priaw had previous for theft and drugs.

 

Both were taken away to Pattaya police station and booked.
