Strange lights in the late night sky Rawai

Featured Replies

I have been seeing some strange bright lights that resembles a star or planet except it is more blue and sometimes yellowish color, the movements are unpredictable and it is always paired up together not too far from each other in Rawai Phuket.

I first got told about it by a friend and i didnt believe him and for a month i hear him walk out the house at odd times late at night and sometimes try to wake me up to join him to look at the lights but i kept refusing until one night i gave in and followed him. We looked up in the night sky approx 1 hour and i said wow i see nothing. A week later somehow i joined him again around 4am-5am between that time and i saw what he was trying to tell me.

I know this sound crazy but until you see it with your own eyes it will remain crazy to you as it did to me. I even tried to take pictures but it only shows a black clear sky and it was also the same for video.

Anyone witness anything like this or know what it is that i am seeing?

Northern lights doesn't relief themselves at these latitudes due how Earth's magnetic shield works.

We do however have squid fishing boats, which often use green lights to attract squids.

There was even a NASA astronaut, who got confused about these lights some years back.

Could it have been the mission to the Space Station?

The next space station pass over in Phuket is June 8th, and each pass is visible for only a few mins. My guess is its simply 2 bright planets.
