UK NATIONAL DISGRACE Four in ten people charged heinous sex attacks in London are foreign
You're right! There are no bicycle thefts or robberies in America where the cops are all armed all the time. A point well made. -

So, ten days ago, this was reported. I wonder how long it takes the letters to get from there to here on average. -

Report Australia’s Teen Screen Lockdown: YouTube Joins Social Media Ban
"kids can still access the children's part of YouTube". And what happens when their favorite creators are made "adult only" as they have made some kind of political statement the government doesn't like? Then the kid gets the VPN so they can access it. Then they have access to genuinely adult content (as VPNs bypass any parental controls their responsible parents might have put on with their ISP) and are on the path to the most extreme content the internet can provide. Kids can get bullied by text message. Is that banned too? The lack of foresight into these kind of policies is quite astonishing. Even if it was intended to protect kids (it wasn't) then it achieves the opposite. -

Updates and events in the War in Ukraine 2025
Russian Soldiers Are Being Robbed After Enlisti Take 39-year-old welder Nikita Hursa from Rostov region. He admits he didn’t join the war for patriotism, he joined for the money. The Kremlin dangled life-changing pay: up to 5.2 million rubles a year, around six times the Russian average salary. Hursa was wounded in mid-2024 and returned home after only a few months. On his way to Rostov, Hursa was stopped by police. One officer hesitated, recognising him as a front-line soldier. The other didn’t. They seized almost everything, 2.66 million rubles (about £24,000). Gratitude for service was nowhere in sight. Hursa’s story is not unique. In Moscow’s airports, police tip off taxi drivers about incoming soldiers. These drivers offer a “normal” fare but charge up to 15 times more at the end of the ride. Refuse to pay and the soldiers risk being drugged, threatened, or drained of their bank accounts. Russian Soldiers Are Being Robbed After Enlisting -

Getting International Drivers Licence in Thailand - DLT - requirements?
Why would you need one? If you could even get one....are you Thai? An international driving licence is usual issued by your home country and just provides evidence that your driving licence in that country is valid. Unless I have got this all wrong?
