Popcorn is OK in movie theaters, drinks too - but wear a mask and clear up after yourself, says health dept

Thailand's health authorities said they never intended that popcorn and drinks should be banned for movie goers. 

 

This was widely reported in the Thai press and in Thaivisa translations.

 

They have said that popcorn and drinks are fine so long as people clear up after themselves. 

 

They have stressed, however, that they want everyone wearing a mask when watching a movie.

 

They have cited the fact that despite the social distancing measures now in place in theaters people are still in an enclosed space and run the risk of passing on coronavirus.

If they are so worried about enclosed spaces, why do we still have a damm curfew?

But you also need to wear your mask at beach?  Another enclosed area?  

I guess there,s still no necking allowed then (necking=kissing passionately).........

Not something ingrained into the mindset of the average citizen. Better to maintain the ban than expect a positive response to this herculean task of carrying trash to a trash can.

That's a bit much to ask isn't it ,,, Cleaning up?

According to government figures there is no virus and hasn't been for weeks.

 

Why are they doing this?

I just hope they never allow stinky squid and sausage snacks again!

How does these two things fit together, I mean wearing a mask while eating popcorn and drinking, or...?

They should have Anutin and company march down to the cinemas and clear this up!!!

You certainly can!  Cut a flap in it.  Better yet, puree it with your sugary crappy soda and drink it you animal!  ????

Soon coming mouth masks with small Resealable straw-hole for beverages  that can also be used to insert peanuts happy happy.
