Any Up To Date News on Driving Licence Renewal

Featured Replies

I am hearing that the DLT offices are now open for driving licence renewal, anyone have any up to date information on this? I am told they opened on 8th June for people who had booked and it will be 22nd June for all others? In addition, I cannot make head nor tail of the Q online booking system.  The app doesn't seem to work and it all in Thai, so not much use to me. Any advice on how to get a booking.  Thanks

I don't know the specifics for foreigners, but for Thai nationals, it's a doozy!

They have to complete some kind of exam online and, once successful, they are given an appointment for a boring video projection, followed by the issuance of their renewed licence.

not a whole lot of good for me then.

If it's not too far, I would suggest that you go to your local administration with your licence and ask them how to proceed.

Most certainly you will not have to follow the Thai citizens' procedure, which exist only in Thai language anyway.

that looks like the only real option right now.
