In a BBC report just published it says:

The number of deaths in Thailand has been 2% higher than average, with about 2,400 more people dying than usual.

Not far off the estimate from the New York Times

I would really like to see November-February though. There is something in that chart that does imply excess in there too, but for reason XYZ they haven't highlighted it.

Good work Thailand.

Thailand has put the rest of the world to shame fighting the virus.

They said "cope" not manage, contain, control, fight. Cope

Better let "the government should fix the economy". I hope other nations follow this advice.

That said sooner or later I will fix the leaking tap but I'm not coping very well with the task so tomorrow.

Sorry, on the 5th February I find that hard to believe, Thailand had zero action in place, in fact it was still taking direct flights & tourists from ground zero... Wuhan.

There were no restrictions at that time.

just can't see past the xenophobia, makes it difficult to believe anything.

What optimist ever said McCarthyism had been eradicated.

I said there were Chinese on the train, plenty of them, all were wearing face masks and kept themselves to themselves. It may come as a surprise to you but measures like social distancing and face masks do not have to be mandatory to be observed.

If you paid any attention to the DDC press releases you would be aware that temperature screening has been in place at borders since January.
