AlfHuy
Hi all, I have a True Visions Box and have added movies and sport channels. I would like to use my bedroom tv as well . Is there any chance to have access to the true visions box which is connected to see living room tv, without the need to rent a second box? Thanks
Orton Rd
How do you add movies to it, do you mean from True?

I would also prefer a box where you can pause live tv, rewind and see whenever you want and having the option to record on the box. Had this in the UK with the BT box. Is this a True Visions cable set top box, or a True Inno hybrid (android os) TV box? One solution is to buy a cable splitter and have the 'cable' wired to both rooms and move the box where and when desired. A second option would be to have two video-out cables to each TV and unplug/plug when needed (but then you'll have issues getting the IR Remote to work (though there are third-party IR Remote relay boxes for this). While you might think you could 'split' the HDMI signal and run to both TV's concurrently, most cable company set top boxes have hardware security chip that either requires the HDMI cabled device be a single Display or TV, or may 'blank' the output if the content you're watching requires the set top box enforce Copy Protection (single certified device only). I once saw a device being sold that emulated an HDCP device (TV) then offered up the signal to multiple normal HDMI output. Very expensive though. If the set top box has the low resolution 'Composite' Video Out, or 'Component' Video Out, you can usually use this to a second device. Though with the 'Component' Video Out more than likely it will always 'blank' out when viewing any content that is 'copy protected' by contract (movies, sports, etc).
EVENKEEL
Yes you have to pay more for second box, I think like another 100bht/mo. Call True and ask......
RichCor
Forgot that Truevisions is being delivered over 3+ methods Coaxial Cable TV free channels direct to your DVB-C TV tuner (no premium content) Coaxial Cable TV via descrambler Set Top Box Satellite Dish TV via descrambler Set Top Box IPTV over Internet via Inno Set Top Box IPTV over Internet to hand-held smart app device 4 hours ago, EVENKEEL said: Yes you have to pay more for second box, I think like another 100bht/mo. I can also pause live TV, rewind, and resume.

natway09
You can have 5 TV's on one box by way of a splitter but all watching the same channel Talk to True, for 200 Bht a month rental they will provide another box. There is an illegal way around that but I am not smart enough to do it
rwill
True has 2 different services. One is TrueID TV that is a chromecast box that you can watch shows on demand but no recording with it. https://trueidtv.trueid.net/index_en.html The other is TrueVisions that has a regular cable box where you have a schedule menu and with a PVR attached can record and pause shows. But not on demand. Service can be thru fiber or satellite. fiber is more reliable, the satellite can loose signal during bad weather. You have to tell them you want a PVR they don't automatically provide it. http://truevisionsgroup.truecorp.co.th/ Looking at the TrueVisions page it now seems they have a hybrid service where you get the functionality of both services. http://true.y3k.info/tvs.php?lang=en

Netflix and YouTube is pre installed. It really depends on the type of Truevision service the person currently has. The option you mention requires True's Fiber Internet TV service option. If they are a TrueVision Sat Dish or Cable customer then they'll likely require a second STB specific for that service. I wonder if TrueVision Inno android set top box is compatible with their old Cable TV + Internet service?
Otter4
Or you can use IPTV for live TV & Movies ......
DUNROAMIN
You can run a component cable from the true box to the second TV, however, everything will be mirrored from the first tv from the one remote, you cant watch different channels. I have a MI Box and I use this to watch stuff on the second tv. Plenty to choose from various apps, including local TV. The Theory
With one box you can watch one channel by both TVs. If this is not a problem there are ways to make wireless connection between the box and 2nd TV.
