This came up in the Chiang Mai local forum, thought I'd share it with everyone here.

http://www.afmgroup.com is a Chiang Mai based company selling high quality imported flower seeds. I think they also do mail order.

Things are stored and packed in a climate controlled environment so you should get a very high percentage of seeds that 'work'.

Ask them about which types of flowers work best in which seasons/conditions, or google... Of course not all varieties enjoy blazing hot temperatures followed by a massive downpoor. You'd mostly sow them in trays, then replant in gardens, baskets, etc.

Yes I've seen their operation up close. They also used to have a trial/test farm where I've been. Looks quite spectacular when they get ready for the local flower festival and they plant just about their whole catalog. I'm not a huge gardener myself to put it mildly, but now that we employ SuperMaid who seems to be able to do absolutely anything home/garden related I'll have her have a go.
