The same applies when using Facebook adverts which are tailored to you from your Google search history, lots of websites use Goolge adsense too. Same thing if you have Facebook application installed in your phone. That's why Google, Facebook etc are free, you are the product. PS: Facebook does not use Google data to serve ads. In fact, they are two different companies in big competition. Not sure what you expect. By the way, have you tried clearing your browser history (Browser history, Cookies, Cache) and see if that changes what ads get served up? Last time I voted, it was for Arthur Scargill's Socialist Labour Party. Doubt I'll ever vote again, unless they start having a box 'No suitable candidate' on the voting forms. As for Ads ........ I don't see any, ad blocker on my browser plus FaceBook Purity removes them all. All my television and movie viewing is from torrent downloads, so no Ads there either.
