Online Shopping in China - Delivery to Thailand?

Featured Replies

I used to buy lots of small electronic parts in China and normally it tool about 10-14 days to get it delivered to Bangkok - with ordinary no extra cost shipping.

Then, when Covid started, that changed. I just canceled an order from March because it was still stuck in China. At lest the supplier didn't make any hassle and refunded the money.

Now I want to buy some parts again and I wonder if the situation changed recently. Does air-mail from China work without much delay?

What is your experience?

P.S.: I am aware that I can buy some of the staff I want in Thailand and sometime I do that. But for some parts China seems to be the only viable option.

I have recently got delivery on some items from aliexpress.com.  Seemed to take longer than in the past, but it was always variable.  Still waiting on some items ordered on 6/10.

Got conned by the "Ali Express Premium Shipping Service" which was 75% of the total cost. Paid on the 5th June,,,, and still somewhere (????) in transit! Never will be buying through them again!

Bought another item on Shoppe, last week, normal postage, and already in Thailand distribution centre!

Bought something on Aliexpress on 22 April. Product arrived yesterday. Left China on 26 April and then sat in transit in Singapore till early June. No idea what happened between then and it arriving here in Bangkok.

Takes all way too long for me so won’t buy on Ali again.

It's hard to predict. The problem isn't with the Chinese but the Thais. Thailand is holding up shipments somehow, flights, Customs, whatever. If something arrives from China within a month after your order, you can feel lucky. Currently I'm having some items trickling in I ordered 6 weeks ago. Better count on around two months nowadays I guess.

Maybe the pace will increase as Thailand opens up more. Hope so. I'd like to see that before I start ordering again. I mean, when it takes SO long you do wonder if it's lost. Aliexpress vendors, unless they forget, will always increase the delivery time for you so that you can't cancel. ????

When an item from China is ordered thru Lazada, a bit more expensive and with the delivery charge, it manages to arrive in reasonable time, usually 2 weeks max from recent experience. Special channel.
