Nineteen bikes and taxi damaged as delivery vehicle mounts footpath In Pathum Thani

Naew Na reported that Klong Luang police in Pathum Thani north of Bangkok were called after a converted Vigo delivery vehicle sideswiped a taxi and mounted the footpath damaging 19 motorcycles.

Chaisit, 25, was behind the wheel of the delivery vehicle. He said he was going back to the company after making a delivery when he lost control, hit a taxi and ended up by the side of the road.

Winai, 41, the cabby, said he was at a loss to explain how the driver had gone into him.

 

All the damaged vehicles were taken off to the police station to await their owners. 

 

Chaisit was taken away to face further questioning.

It's absolutely impossible that Chaisit was using his phone at the time. Those Toyota Vigos are dangerous, and they have minds of their own. For sure, it's the vehicle's fault, plus the bikes were parked in a way that caused the sun to reflect to the Vigo and make things worse.

But my delivery was just the next shop up and I wanted to park right at the shop and not block traffic, WTH were those bikes doing parked in my turnout...Not My Fault 

All them bikes are parked illegally

I'd assume he worked for Dominoes Pizza, the way he knocked all those bikes over.

Thank goodness the modifications to the vehicle had been inspected and approved by the Traffic Office and the insurers informed.......

Somehow I don't think Chaisit will still be in work after this, the boss isn't going to be impressed with the repair bills for all the damage.

This delivery driver deserves a medal  

He removed 19 illegally parked bikes in seconds

The cops cant seem to shift one
