Trying to get back into Thailand and told that residency refers to PR only.

They have a PR card/booklet. 

Im on retirement extension and put more than 180 days in Thailand. 

But get told its only the equivalent of a TR visa.

Cant they qurantine for one day, do a viral tests and get the results in 24-hours to clear non-infected people? Is the virus going to show up in a viral test if infected in the past hours or so (e.g. infected in the flight). Obviously as in your Passport is still stated Non-Immigrant.....
