Motorcycle Checks.

I've been stopped twice today at random police checkpoints once on Sukhumvit and once on Pattaya Tai and asked to show my licence, tax and insurance certificates. (Which I was able to do.)

This has never happened to me before in 5 years of motorcycling in Pattaya. Looks like they are having a crackdown.

If you go out on your motorcycle this weekend make sure your documentation is up to date or else avoid Pattaya city centre.

Yep just came home and saw 1 spot on pattaya klang where they are doing this and another on pattaya tai. Luckily just paid mine today

Crackdown? No way, 2 days after Songkran they are afraid that the month may be lasting too long....in other words; the police individuals need some cash; facing trouble.........give the <deleted> a 100 Baht and that will settle the case.
