Huge police presence in Songkhla’s Jana district ahead of public hearing

 

 

As many as 1,000 police officers, from seven of Thailand’s southern provinces, are to be deployed in Jana district of Songkhla province this Saturday, to maintain peace and order during a public hearing, to be held at Jana Wittaya School, on the Jana industrial estate project,.

GENEVA (Reuters) - The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Thursday that it was setting up an independent panel to review its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and the response by governments.

PHUKET:-- Chalong Police Chief Col Sarawut Chuprasit today announced that the woman who killed a monk walking by the side of the road in a hit-and-run in Chalong early last Saturday morning has tested negative for alcohol at the time of the incident.
