Does anybody have much experience shopping at Klong Toey market and know when is the best time to shop there? By best time, I mean when there is the freshest and widest selection of produce and seafood.

For those that don't know, Klong Toey market is a large, (mostly) open air, market. Very cheap, but a bit out of the way. Google Earth placemark attached for your convenience.

Partial answer to my own question.

Went to Klong Toey since posting the above and can report that on Sunday at 10am'ish, it's bustling with plenty of fresh produce.

Although I'd be a bit more comfortable if they would use ice to guard the meat instead of dogs.
