lujanit
Can anyone who has a recent health checkup recommend a hospital where they had it. Bangkok only please. Also the cost would be helpful. I was hoping to find a list that compares hospitals, tests done and cost. Found one list which only compared three hospitals. TIA
Trillian
Rather than compare what's available, why not consider which tests you need based on your lifestyle, age and sex, otherwise you risk paying for unnecessary tests that really aren't relevant. A good family doctor will help in this respect. Be aware that many hospitals use the health check as means of selling on further tests and procedures. Perhaps if you were to profile your self here then people such as Sheryl could advise which tests you should have?
Oxx
I had a checkup at Samitivej Sukhumwit earlier this year. Just under 25,000 baht. It worked out cheaper than Samitivej Srinakarin, even with a few extra tests. I was very happy with the experience. https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/en/promotions/checkup-svh/

Actually the tests are designed to be those that will pick up normal conditions for those of the age range intended and as often a lot cheaper than doing one by one. Once under treatment for specific conditions would be the time for doctor ordering tests. As for "family doctor" good luck finding in Thailand - this is a country of specialists and although some will act as GP they are far from what a GP would be in most countries and will normally recommend you to a specialist if not their field. For price all hospitals I have visited or checked will have that information on website (it is how they advertise for new patients and keeps the price competitive).
