Here's one for Dr Treelove.

I love the leaves on this tree, talk about perfect shade! I asked the owner what it was and she answered, ต้นตีนเป็ด  Ton tin pet -Duck's feet tree. But my daughter doesn't agree, and checking out the aforementioned on the internet, the leaves don't look similar at all.

Wondering if anyone knows its name.

 Ah, a good Thai friend provided the answer- ต้นหูกวาง  ton hoo kwang- the ears of a deer. Excellent, it's a fast grower, in 2 years I'll have that shade I crave.
