Parcel from BKK to London

Featured Replies

What is cheapest mode of sending parcel from Bangkok to London?

I need to send about 4 pairs of shoes with their individual boxes which are not heavy but it would be bulky.

Parcel post at any Post Office.

Venomous, best left alone, will strike when threatened ! can be fatal.

if time is not an issue then send them by surface mail and registered - it will take about 10 weeks,

If not use airmail small packet

also just turn the boxes inside out and use them as the packing so no need to buy the extra boxes and pay for the extra weight

I used to ship Converse shoes worldwide in this manner in 2005 (but by airmail then)

Won't there be duty to pay in the UK ?
In the past i have sent branded clothes to my daughter by post, they were held at customs until she paid duty.
Last week I sent shampoo / conditioner by DHL (  7kg box ), it arrived within 5 days: she was charged 17gbp duty; not sure if that was on Thai cost of goods or UK cost ( although particular brand not available in UK ).

Perhaps you could post as gift or low value ( a birthday card I sent by airmail in May only just arrived ).
Good luck.
